Last Friday, we closed the office early and the team descended on Birmingham for the Greater BYPY Awards 2023 – a fantastic celebration that recognises and acclaims young professionals inspiring change across different sectors within Greater Birmingham.
As if the event wasn’t inspiring enough, we’re delighted to share that our very own Georgie Butler won the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year 2023 award for the Retail, Hospitality and Events category.
Turns out, the judges agreed, and here’s why:
Georgie initially joined Blackberry to support the shift to virtual events at the start of the pandemic and while one of the largest parts of her role is designing, developing and delivering a range of events, and managing our client accounts, she has an undeniable passion for the future of the business and it’s impact on Greater Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Her passion encourages our clients, suppliers and staff to strive for the best, not just in standards and quality, but in terms of sustainability, diversity and inclusivity.
